But first, how did I get to know about this product. My kid sister Queenta who is based in Bang Kok was celebrating her birthday so I had to take a quick trip to Bang Kok to celebrate with her. So when I got there, I noticed I was running out of my usual cleanser. So in the morning, I had to check the internet to order another bottle since I wasn’t close to the shop where I use to buy. While I was browsing the net to place my order, she noticed and she asked what I was doing which I explained.

She stopped me from placing the order and gave me a bottle of the Klair’s Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser to try, which is what she was using and she had a few bottles left to spare one away. I started using it based on her recommendation and today it is my best cleanser especially in my morning routine which is very ideal for combination skin.

An Overview Of The Cleanser

Klair’s Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser is a cleanser that is formulated to suit all skin types due to its lightweight texture and moisturizing effect. It moisturizes the skin and cleans the pores with its low irritant amino acid. The Klair’s Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser formula contains hyaluronic acid and aloe vera which helps to soothe and nourish the skin, tea tree oil which helps to softly purify the product.

It cleans without stripping with its moisturizing ingredients and by using a mild detergent such as sodium lauroyl sarcosinate instead of the popular powerful sodium lauryl sulfate. According to claims by the producer, the cleanser is able to balance the PH level of the skin. I would say yes but according to my experience with the cleanser, it is not meant to be a stand-alone cleanser but needs a second step cleanser because though it is a good cleanser I must say, it does not really take off everything from your face.

Or you can use it as a second step cleanser itself after removing your make up with another oil-based cleanser because the Klair’s Rich Foaming Cleanser is not made for removing makeups. Using it that way will make your skin clear and well cared for after removing that layer of your make up. You might want to pair up this foam cleanser with the Klair’s Deep Cleansing Facial Oil.

But what I love about this cleanser is the fact that it really doesn’t leave my face feeling tight and it doesn’t leave my skin dry out after cleansing. About the scent, I would say it does scent very strongly like that of tea tree oil so if you do not like the tea tree scent, then there is need for you to keep off. The fact that it contains no common irritants, no alcohol, no sulfates, no paraben, and no artificial dyes makes it very suitable for sensitive skin like I earlier mentioned. It is also suitable for who support cruelty-free brands for the fact that it is animal tested free.

Packaging and Texture:

The cleanser comes a 100ml white but pale bottle with a special pump that already lathers up the product and you can go right ahead and use the luscious foam to gently cleanse your face. Unlike some other foaming cleansers, I have used before the foam doesn’t immediately turn into watery but rather sets into firm bouncy peaks. The packaging of the cleanser is a suitable pocket size which makes it very travel-friendly.

How to Use:

There isn’t much to say as regards using the cleanser. All you need to do is press the pump for the required amount of foam and gently apply on the area you intend to cleanse using circular motions and wash away using lukewarm.

About The Ingredients:

One thing I enjoyed about the ingredient list of this cleanser is the fact that it is free from artificial ingredients. Looking at the ingredient’s list, the cleanser contains a lot of plant-based ingredients such as:

  • Licorice extract,
  • Aloe Vera,
  • Tea tree oil,
  • Shea butter,
  • Rice bran extract,

as well as fruit extracts like pineapple and papain which helps for a light peeling effect. Again, it contains Hyaluronic acid & aloe Vera extract which are a popular ingredient in skincare products that help to hydrate the skin and provide the cleanser with other major components of the skin, involved in skin cell tissue repair.

Tea tree leaf oil and houttuynia cordata extract which are Essential ingredient for treating skin troubles. Also effective for various dermatologic conditions such as:

  • Dandruff,
  • Acne,
  • Lice,
  • Herpes

and other skin infections and also contains other natural ingredients from leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree.

According to the brand, it is recommended to apply cleanser to damp, gently massage into the skin using a circular motion. And in my honest opinion, I have been doing this and my skin did not feel dry nor tight. Though good for all skin types but best for sensitive skin type. It is preferable to use in the morning because it will fit well with the rest of your routine.

Nice foamy nature, foam pumps out as required, easy to use and did not dry out my skin. It can work for all skin type though some people with combination skin type sometimes complain of dryness after use.

The first time I used it, I noticed new bumps even with tea tree oil in it (maybe I’m just allergic to some of the ingredients) because sister does not have such reactions.

Next is the tea tree scent in it, the ordure is just too strong for me but I have seen people appreciate the scent but it does not really tie well for me. So, I don’t know about you. Is up to you.

With all that being said, I strongly recommend that, if you have been struggling with cleansing and have not had a definite and winning solution, here is it. Struggle no more for the Klair’s Rich Foaming Cleanser is the solution.

I will also recommend the Klair’s Freshly Juiced Brightening Package which happens to be a skincare routine with the purpose of restoring and bringing liveliness back to the skin. Comes in a free shipping offer for just $73.01 (34.8%OFF).
